The Art of Professional Care

For Devora Wooden, the journey of entrepreneurship wasn't just about building a business; it was about learning how professional care can transform lives. Her story is a tapestry of administrative precision, creative styling, and a relentless drive to beautify the world—one strategy at a time.

There's much more...

"Success is not just about having a great idea; it’s about the courage to take the first step, the persistence to keep going, and the vision to see what others cannot."

Roots in Excellence

Devora’s professional foundation was laid long before she entered the boardroom. Mentored by the most intellectual woman in her family, Renata Wooden, Esq., Devora began her career as a receptionist and filing clerk in a private law practice in Newark, New Jersey.

Over the next eight years, she witnessed a powerful truth: professional care for a person can translate into love, ultimately saving lives. By the time she left for college in 1996, she had risen to the role of Legal Secretary, armed with extensive administrative and office management tools that would define her future ventures.

A Foundation in Management

With a laser focus on business, Devora attended Johnson C. Smith University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2001. This academic rigor, combined with her practical experience, prepared her to launch her career as an Organizational Consultant in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Driven by a profound passion for black-owned businesses and an unmatched love for aesthetics, she created a consultancy brand that reflected her life's mission: to beautify the world around her.

The Evolution of Beauty & Business

Devora has always asked herself one defining question: “How else can I beautify lives?”

This curiosity led to the birth of Dig Deep LLC in 2007, a retail and rental service for fashion and vintage accessories. Immersed in the worlds of film sets, runways, and photo projects, she realized that women needed more than just accessories—they needed professional empowerment for their creative endeavors.

In 2014, she continued this expansion by opening Beautique 18, a fashion accessory boutique in the heart of the NoDa area in Charlotte. Throughout this journey, Devora remained a self-funded entrepreneur, using her professional expertise to fuel her creative dreams.
